Yes, our 360 series not only include a GPS module which gives position information and a ‘COG’ course over ground heading (followed between the last 2 GPS positions), but also a real gyro-compensated magnetic compass giving a magnetic heading like any mechanical compasses.
All our products are powered by a single AA type battery. We also recommend the use of rechargeable batteries (see recommended brand / models in the user manual). Rechargeable batteries offer increased safety as they are not subject to the electrolyte leaks that can happen on some saline & alkaline batteries.
